The fall, and now winter season belongs to pop singer Rihanna. She debuted her long-awaited Fenty Beauty Make Up Line along with debuting her Spring 2018 catalog at the Fenty Puma Runway Show at NYFW. The models not only wore the collection pieces from the Fenty Puma Fashion line, but also the Fenty Beauty make up products as well. The line has received great reviews and feedback so far, as it is possibly the most inclusive make up line we’ve ever seen, Fenty has products for all shades and skin tone. Other make up collections went into a frenzy the week Fenty debuted trying to prove that their lines were equally as inclusive.

Fenty Beauty is currently being sold at Sephora and through the Fenty Beauty website and will be in other stores soon. October 13th marked the Fenty Beauty Galaxy collection release with more shiny and glittery colors to make any face pop just a little bit more, and Nov. 23rd marked the release of her Stunna Lip Line that is a red lip must have.

With her Fenty Puma and Make Up lines, Rihanna seems to have put her music on the back burner for now with ANTI being her 8th studio album. She is currently featured on 3 charting singles: Wild Thoughts by DJ Khaled and featuring Bryson Tiller, Loyalty a duet from Kendrick Lamar’s DAMN album and now rapping on the new single Lemon from the Pharrell Williams group N.E.R.D. Despite not having an album out, she’s been named the top streamed artist of 2017.

Rihanna is proving herself as a strong business woman, humanitarian and philanthropist. In February, she accepted Harvard University’s humanitarian award and she donated bikes to girls in Malawi in order to help them get to school in August. She’s continuing these efforts by using her voice to speak out against the injustice of Cyntoia Brown, a young woman serving a life sentence for defending herself against her pimp and killing him. She also stood up for trans people and African-Americans or POC and how they are treated and viewed as token additions to tv shows/commercials, beauty and fashion campaigns based on an inclusion question posed to her by one of her followers on social media.

Rihanna continues to create her own lane in terms of fashion, beauty and music. She has been featured on numerous fall/winter magazine covers such as Vogue Paris and Vogue Arabia, Dazed and Time magazine for Fenty being one of the 25 best inventions of 2017 just to name a few. She’s also recently had a street named after her in her native Barbados and will be the co-host of the 2018 Met Gala. FAM let’s all take a moment to salute Rihanna.
