FAM~Fashion Art and More was born out of my love for different clothing styles, my love for visual art even though I can’t draw for shit. The more is my love for music, sports, travel, wealth building and beyond. The name FAM came about because well once you get to know me you basically become my FAM. Fashion Art N More will bring you Black Excellence with an edge!
28th and Edgehill made me, Crenshaw and Vernon raised me. Growing up Fashion, Art, Music, Dance and Sports were very prevalent in my life. Both grandmother’s were beauticians. One grandmother was also a seamstress. My paternal grandfather played jazz with some of the old greats on Central Ave back in the days when Afro Americans weren’t allowed in the white clubs. Hearing the old stories told by them, seeing the old photos of black faces in glamour, listening to music and thoroughly enjoying themselves gave me visuals of Black Excellence.
Growing up and participating in talent/fashion/dance/music instrumental recitals and shows gave me an opportunity to participate first hand and I’ve never stopped loving the arts as a result.
